Somerset Avenue

This project included the restoration of the original Victorian villa- removing a garage, replacing the verandah and all of the timber windows and doors. Re-working a 1980’s two storey extension- turning a basement motorbike workshop into a playroom, extending the main level out to the west and opening the main living area out to the garden. Inserting a light-filled stairwell and then adding a new top floor which contains the main bedroom, ensuite, dressing room and reading nook. Beautiful colours, materials, and the use of natural light and carefully selected light fittings complete this comfortable home for a young, fun family.
