Hamilton Road

Work had already been done to this house by another designer, to a very high standard- adding a contemporary living/kitchen/dining room, so some of this detailing was taken into this next stage of the project. The house is a large villa with a steep roof- so lots of attic space. The middle of the villa was dark and a bit stuffy, so a new slatted timber stair was added into this space, with skylights over to bring light and fresh air into the home. Upstairs two dormers were added, facing west and north. A new main bedroom, a study, dressing room and shower room now occupy the attic.
